The best way to drive traffic and especially online buyers to your website is through search engine optimization, or as it’s known in the biz, SEO (ess eeeh oh).
SEO is the process of designing your website so it’s friendly to the search engines, especially the big one, Google. Nobody really knows the exact formula to rank high in search engines (other than a few who write the code), so learning how to rank in the top 10 (page 1) for even the most competitive keywords has been a trial and error process. But over time we’ve mastered the basics and have a good understanding of a majority of the advanced factors in ranking at the top of the search engines.
